Ashley Davis

I'm a staff software engineer and international speaker. I work on distributed systems, with a particular focus on cryptography, security and platform engineering. I mostly use Go, Python and C++.

I'm probably best known for my work as a maintainer of both cert-manager and trust-manager as open source projects.

My main interests cover several areas:

  •   security and encryption (TLS, public key cryptography)
  •   open source
  •   low-level programming (bare metal RISC-V & ARM)
  •   platform engineering (build systems, Kubernetes, continuous integration)

Check out my GitHub profile, including my open source contributions and public projects.

This website is built and deployed through a CI toolchain I've built for myself, from scratch.
